Facility

The Palace Theater seats 300 auditorium or 140 cabaret accommodating various events: live theater, banquets, weddings, receptions, parties, meetings, graduations and ceremonies. There are two (2) banquet rooms, one (1) main stage, one (1) smaller stage, one (1) mezzanine, restrooms and a green room. The Palace Theater is completely handicap accessible with the main floor curbside level with wide doors and an elevator for easy access to all three levels.

Exclusive parking for The Palace Theater is available on Utica Street/Route 12B between the Colgate Bookstore and The Palace Theater and just north of Subway Restaurant on Route 12B (about 100 yards). Additional parking may be found throughout the Village of Hamilton (road parking and a community parking lot on Payne Street about one block east of The Palace Theater).

ROOMS:

Main Room: This is the largest room located on the main level. It seats 300 auditorium style or about 140 cabaret using 6' round tables each seating 10 people. It includes a large stage with podium and full screen for presentation needs. The Palera is a cafe serving light desserts and non-alcoholic drinks during performances. It can be used by your caterer for your function.

Underground: This is the second largest room located on the basement level accommodating 80 people. The graffiti and personal autographs of previous stars appearing at The Palace Theater give it a more funky, casual appearance. It includes a portable stage with lights and sound for smaller or acoustic bands, comedians and one acts. The restrooms are on this level.

Mezzanine: Two open sweeping stairways lead up from the Main Room to the Mezzanine on the second floor level. It is a delightful, airy space with large windows overlooking downtown Hamilton. The bar area is available for your event and caterer.

Green Room: This is the exclusive space for performers and includes a private half bath, two (2) dressing rooms with lighted mirrors and counters and one (1) shared room with full length mirrors and table and chairs. There is an iron and ironing board, 3 clothing racks (total 15'), hangers and minor sewing kit.
